چکیده

Semiconductor photocatalysis technology is an environmentally friendly and efficient emerging technology. This method can use sunlight as a driving force to quickly decompose organic pollutants in water bodies. Zinc oxide (ZnO) tungsten (WO3) photocatalysts absorb participate photocatalytic degradation reactions due their relatively narrow band gap. Highly photosensitive WO3 nanofibers ZnO/WO3 composite were fabricated via the electrospinning method. When 100 mg/L of rhodamine B (Rh B) solution was used substrate, efficiencies for Rh dye 70% 90%, respectively, after reaction 120 min. The surface morphology, crystal structure, optical properties characterized by SEM, XRD, XPS, UV-vis absorption spectra, experimental results analyzed explained using different mechanisms. show that have better UV-visible light performance, sample has higher utilization rate. mainly fact P-N heterojunction formed semiconductor composite, electron–hole pair could realize rapid separation under drive built-in electric field force, which promoted migration carrier. Therefore, activity catalyst significantly than catalyst, improvement efficiency dye.

Textile Dyeing Wastewater Treatment

Textile industry can be classified into three categories viz., cotton, woolen, and synthetic fibers depending upon the used raw materials. The cotton textile industry is one of the oldest industries in China. The textile dyeing industry consumes large quantities of water and produces large volumes of wastewater from different steps in the dyeing and finishing processes. Wastewater from printing...

Application of Iron Electrode in Textile Industry Wastewater Treatment Using Electro-fenton Technique: Experimental and Statistical Study

The application of synthetic colors in textile industries and their entry into the water and groundwater is an environmental problem because of being very toxic material. The synthetic colors which are used in textile dyeing (plyacrilic and polyester) are usually dispersing colorants. They derive the azo and anthraquinone chemicals. Electro-Fenton process is an efficient technique which can deg...

Textile Wastewater Treatment Using Sawdust as Adsorbent

The role of sawdust in the removal of pollutants from textile wastewater has been investigated. The textile wastewater was treated by using sawdust as adsorbent and then filtered. The various physicochemical characteristics of sawdust treated and untreated textile effluent were analyzed. The maximum percent removal of 37% was observed for total suspended solids while minimum removal of 9% for c...
